Thermocouple JType - MHT

J-type thermocouples are another common temperature sensor. Made from iron and constantan (copper-nickel alloy) wires, they excel in mid-range temperature measurement, typically reaching up to 750°C. While less extensive than K-type, their range works well for many industrial processes. J-types are known for their affordability and good response time. However, they are less suitable for high temperatures or oxidizing environments due to limitations of the iron wire.
